Purchasing :

Q1. What forms of payment do you accept for online purchases?

We accept payments through Paypal – even if you do not have a Paypal account you can pay by credit card.  If you have a Paypal account you may pay with your Paypal balance, bank debit card, Visa and all other credit cards accepted by Paypal.  Your payments are protected through Paypal and credit card information is encrypted. We do not store credit card information on our website.

Q2. When is my credit card charged?

When your order is shipped. When you complete the checkout process your credit card or debit card will be authorized for the amount of your order.

Q3. How do I change or add to my order?

If you need to make a change or addition to your order, please call us at 905 460 1007 before it is shipped out.  Or email us at:  info@cherylsporcelain.com

Q4. How do I use the Search feature to get the best results?

Using the search box at the top of every page will allow you to search our range  of products.  The results will pull up all items that have all of the words you typed in the item description.  Browse by category using keywords examples. Plate  (an assortment of Plates will appear on your screen) 

Q5. Do you offer discounts for bulk purchases?

Some of our products, listed below are eligible for a discount (it is listed in the product description) if purchased in quantities of 6 or more.  Once you choose 6 items or more of that product and your cart is updated, you will see the 5% discount that is applied automatically, just below the subtotal before shipping and handling charges are added in our online shopping cart.  There is no coupon necessary to avail of the 5% discount for 6 or more of these items.
The 5% discount for 6 or more or larger bulk discounts do not apply to all our porcelain items except those listed below.

Q6. Which products can be discounted for bulk purchases?

1.   Porcelain products namely: Gold Rim Plates (Japan) sizes 1 to 6; Plate #3300-1, 3300-2, 3300-3 series; Open work 8” Plate #2075; Small plate 5 ½” #8135;  Crumb Tray #260D, Crumb Brush #260B; Switch/outlet cover #30983; Single switch cover #JM-15 and Outlet cover #30983, Czech Plates CZH-01 & CZH-02 & Coat Hooks,   qualify for bigger discounts if bought in quantities of 24 nos./36 nos./48 nos. or more, depending on stock availability.
2.   Over glaze Paints: Some of our over glaze china paints can also be bought in bulk (ask us for a quote). Teachers qualify for a bulk discount.

Q7. Will you restock more of any particular item?

We are not a manufacturer so when a porcelain product or paint color sells out we may not be able to restock the same item again.

Shipping Information :

Q1. How are shipping charges calculated?

Please be assured that we try to keep our shipping costs as low as possible.  The website attempts to calculate shipping charges based on your postal code/country, and the approximate shipping weight/volume of the items you have added to your cart. The calculation attempts to estimate the number of boxes necessary to package your order before shipping. For larger/heavier items the shipping costs calculated by our website is usually an approximation of the shipping charges, it may not take into account the weight and  the large amount of packing material we must use to ensure your order arrives undamaged. If you prefer to order over the phone, we cannot provide you a shipping estimate at that time, but we will charge you for the actual charges incurred when your order is shipped out.  

For larger orders of porcelain products of 6-12 items or more of large plates, trays etc. we may have to add on the actual charges/costs incurred after your order is packed and shipped out. The shopping cart may not be able to accurately provide the precise amount for shipping at the time of the order especially if it is an international order.  

Q2. Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship to most international addresses. The website may not calculate 100% accurate freight charges for international orders— you will be charged the actual shipping amount when your order ships. We are often asked to provide an international freight quote before an order is placed. Unfortunately, every destination has a different rate and the rate is based upon the actual dimensions of the shipment, not the actual weight of the shipment. Without an order being placed with the items and quantities provided, we cannot begin to estimate the cost to ship. To minimize international shipping costs select items that are small in weight/volume like paints, small porcelain dishes, plates and tiles.

Q3. Can orders be picked up in person?

Yes, orders can be picked up in person if you are in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) by appointment only. We are located in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.  Products have to be pre-ordered and ready for curb-side pickup due to Covid-19 protocols.  You will save on the shipping and handling costs.

Returns :

Q1. What do I do if one of the items I ordered arrives broken or defective?

Please call us immediately at 905 460 1007 and we will try to assist you as best we can.  No returns are accepted unless there is a claim or is authorized by us.   

Product Information :

Q1. Do items need to be decorated?

No, our porcelain and ceramic items can be used without further decoration. Most items are glazed. The item description will indicate if an item is unglazed (bisque).

Q2. Are your items dishwasher and microwave safe?

Each item is different, but in general plain white porcelain and ceramic items are both dishwasher and microwave safe. Decorated/painted items should be hand washed and any item with metallic decoration (for example: a plate with a gold rim) is NOT microwave safe and should be hand washed.
